Apple Room
Pre-K
Our Pre-K room use the Learning Without Tears Curriculum and Heggerty Phonics.
Our Pre-K program helps children develop the skills necessary to ensure a successful beginning to their school career. Our Pre-K teacher is certified to teach Pre-k-5th grade. The Apple room is filled with age appropriate toys along with lots of activities. All items are sanitized daily using the ZONO Sanitizing Machine. Children move up based on the school schedule, so they must be 4 years old by August 15th to enter the program. The Apple lesson plans follow the TN-ELDS and uses Pocket of Preschool as a curriculum. Our Apple age group continues in the studies of Language Arts, Math, Music, and Science concepts. The Pre-K program is fun and exciting! We are determined to have your child prepared for any challenge academically, spiritually, and socially before he/she enters kindergarten.
Your child will eat off the daycare daily menu each day. If a child cannot eat what is on the weekly menu, a doctor’s note must be provided based on CACFP regulations. You will also need to bring a substitute food item for that day.
What to bring
- Backpack big enough to hold a standard folder
- 2 changes of clothes (season appropriate)
